Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a Specialist School in the Fulford area of York. We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to support across their Primary and Secondary classes. The classes can include students with Autism, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Engagement Difficulties, therefore the successful candidate must have experience of, or be willing to carry out Team Teach training.
The ideal candidate must have experience, or a strong understanding of complex needs, including Autism. This can be from any of the following backgrounds:
- Support work in Schools
- Support work in the Care Sector
- Supporting adults with Special Needs
- Youth Work
- Psychologist
- Sports Coaching
- Nursing / Medical background
The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only.
