If this sounds like you, then we would love to speak with you. Teaching Personnel are working with a number of SEN schools in West Sussex who need committed, professional and passionate teaching assistants and youth workers to support their pupils.

For children with additional needs, consistency and trust is particularly important; so we are looking for individuals who can deliver this level of support and build strong relationships with pupils and staff. 

The Role:

  • Working in the classroom with pupils either primary or secondary aged with additional needs, supporting them in their learning and personal development
  • Taking part in creative activities such as lego therapy, sensory sessions, art and music
  • Taking instruction from the teacher and following behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Building relationships with pupils to enable them to grow in confidence and get the most out of their learning and overall school journey

Details:

  • 8.30-3.30 Mon- Fri (term time only)
  • Weekly pay through PAYE with online payslips
  • Both ad-hoc and permanent roles available
  • Free safeguarding training provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
