Teaching Assistant – SEN Hub (Weymouth)
Location: Weymouth, Dorset
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Weymouth to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their SEN Hub, supporting pupils with additional needs in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role
- Supporting pupils within a dedicated SEN Hub
- Working alongside a really lovely, supportive and experienced team
- Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
- Helping to create a calm, inclusive and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience supporting SEN pupils (desirable but not essential)
- Patient, caring and proactive approach
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
- DBS on the Update Service preferred, but we can support you with applying for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
