Teaching Assistant – Weymouth
Full-time & part-time roles available | Term-time only | Competitive pay from £85 per day

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? Are you looking to take the next step in your education career? We’re working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school in Weymouth that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

The role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your strengths and experience
  • Work one-to-one or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support where required

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, especially those with additional needs or those requiring extra support to reach their full potential.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
  • A positive, proactive and flexible approach
  • A passion for helping children thrive and achieve
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or similar)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
