Location:

Carmarthenshire

Pay:

£14.25 per hour

⏰ Hours:

8:30am - 3:30pm ✅ Monday to Friday ✅ No weekends ✅ School holidays off


The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital part in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You'll work alongside experienced teaching staff to help create a positive, engaging learning environment where students can thrive.

Your duties may include:

✅ Supporting students with their learning and development

✅ Providing one-to-one or small group support

✅ Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

✅ Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities

✅ Helping create a safe and inclusive learning environment

✅ Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required


What We're Looking For

We're looking for caring, reliable individuals who have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.

Essential Requirements:

✅ DBS Certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

✅ Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register

✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Positive, adaptable and proactive attitude

✅ A passion for helping children achieve their potential

Desirable:

⭐ Previous experience working with children or young people

⭐ Teaching Assistant experience

⭐ Coaching, sports, mentoring, youth work or care experience

⭐ Experience supporting additional learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
