KS1 Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support Role – Southampton

Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a child’s learning journey?

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a welcoming primary school in Southampton that is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships and supporting children to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have prior experience working within a primary school, ideally in KS1

  • Be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, both academically and emotionally

  • Show patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach to learning

  • Be able to follow support plans and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
