Teaching Assistant Needed for Outstanding SEN School in Sittingbourne
We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and patient Teaching Assistant to join a outstanding SEN school in Sittingbourne. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
The school we are working with has some of the best facilities in the area, including a sensory garden, sensory room, and a hyrdopool. These outstanding facilities provide a great opportunity for students to explore and learn in a stimulating environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to work with students in these facilities, providing them with the support they need to reach their full potential.

The pay rate for this role is £11.85p/h, and we offer ongoing training and development opportunities to support your professional growth.
About the role:
- Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Full-time, term-time only
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills (A-C Grade) GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
