Teaching Assistant

Our client school based in Salford are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their learning support department in the new academic year supporting pupils across KS3/4.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide in class support for identified students with a range of needs to ensure they have the correct resources to meet their target grades. To be considered for this role, it is important that you have some form of experience supporting children and young people previously or transferable experience to work.

• Immediate start
• Full-time Teaching Assistant
• Supporting pupils across KS3 and GCSE
• Earn up between £1500 - £1700 per month, depending on experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor pupils progress and report to senior members of staff
• Supporting pupils who require additional support due to learning needs
• Work alongside other Teaching Assistants and senior leader
• Receive support and training to build further experience working within education

The secondary school is based near the centre of Salford. The school is easily accessible via the M62, A56, M66 and A58. For candidates that are using public transport there are links from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and Heywood.
