Primary Teaching Assistants Needed
Location: Newport, Caldicot, Chepstow & Monmouth
Contract: Full-time, Part-time & Flexible
Pay: Weekly pay
Start: ASAP
Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support our partner schools across Newport, Caldicot, Chepstow and Monmouth.
Demand from our schools is high, and we are looking to bring in reliable, proactive individuals who are ready to step into primary classrooms and make a real difference.
If you are based in any of these areas and are considering working in education, this is a great opportunity to get started.
About the Role
• Support pupils across Primary schools (Early Years, KS1 and KS2)
• Work in a range of settings including mainstream classes, ALN/SEN support, LRB and nurture provisions
• Provide support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Support pupils with learning, behaviour and emotional development
• Be proactive and engaged within a busy classroom environment
No Experience? No Problem
We are open to applicants from all backgrounds.
Experience is welcomed, but it is not essential. What matters most is your attitude and willingness to get involved.

• Team Teach training (behaviour management and de-escalation)
• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
Requirements (we can help you with these):
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• EWC Registration
• Two recent references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
