Location: Newcastle
Pay Rate: £350-£400 (Per Week)
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to begin in September. The role will require you to be flexible and very adaptable to change, you will gain transferrable skills that will enhance your knowledge of workig in the classroom. The school are very focused on promoting independence and self-confidence for their pupils so when appropriate, the children are encouraged to work independently or in small groups to also help improve their social and emotional skills.
About the role:
- Working hours are 08:30-15:30
- Weekly Pay £350-£400 (pro rata) paid every Friday
- Supporting year 2 pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as offering full class support
Candidate requirements:
- Experience working with SEND pupils (desired)
- Hold a child only DBS accessible on the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Calm and nurturing attitude
- adapable to change
- Ability to use initiative and offer whole class support when needed
- Experience working in a school setting (desired)
- Hold a Level 2 TA qualification (desired)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
