Our client Secondary School located in Northumberland is seeking an English graduate to join their English department on a full time basis, starting in February.
* Full time English graduate post, starting in February 2018
* Join a highly accredited English department with a supportive Head of English
* Gain classroom based experience and behaviour management skills
* Excellent opportunity for any English graduate wanting to start a teacher training programme
* Attractive pay rates starting from £60.00 a day
Responsibility as an English Graduate:
* Delivering interventions to low ability students to raise their attainment
* Supporting students identified as gifted and talented on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Providing feedback to the English department on the performance of all students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
