Teaching Assistant
Join a vibrant secondary school in Manchester seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant from November.
The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting students with educational health care plans and will support students with moderate learning difficulties, ADHD, ASC and social emotional mental health.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a secondary school supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis. Teaching Assistants work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, ensuring that they reach their expected levels of progress in line with targets.
Key features of a Teaching Assistant post;
- Working within a supportive SEN department
- Access to a number of training and development courses
- Gain school based experience to support teacher training applications
To be eligible for the role of a Teaching Assistant you will need to have suitable reference and be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
