Teaching Personnel is the UKs leading recruitment agency, and we specialise in placing TAs, ECTs, Teachers, Tutors and support staff into both SEN and mainstream schools across the UK.

Our specialist SEN branch is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a small, friendly SEN school in Maidstone.  We are looking for a professional individual with a genuine passion for the learning and development of SEN students!

About the role:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with additional needs
  • Be comfortable working with both primary and secondary aged pupils
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils whilst acting as a role model

Details:

  • 8:30-3:30
  • Mon – Fri (term time only)
  • £77 a day (6.5 hours)

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess patience and a caring persona
  • Can demonstrate enthusiasm for working with children with special educational needs
  • Be flexible and reliable
  • Be resilient to challenging behaviours and tasks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
