Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant – Full Time – Lymington
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant passionate about helping young children thrive? Do you enjoy working both 1:1 and within small intervention groups? Teaching Personnel are supporting a friendly mainstream primary school in Lymington that is looking to appoint a dedicated Key Stage 1 Learning Support Assistant on a full-time basis.
This role offers the chance to support pupils in both individual and group settings, including children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils develop their skills and confidence, ensuring they reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.

Location: Lymington, Hampshire

Year group: Key Stage 1 (Reception – Year 2)

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday during term time

Setting: Mainstream primary school, supporting both whole class and targeted groups
What we’re looking for:
-
Experience working with young children in a school setting, ideally supporting KS1 pupils
-
Confidence working 1:1 with children requiring additional support
-
Experience supporting children with SEMH is highly desirable
-
Ability to deliver targeted intervention programmes and adapt support to individual needs

A positive, patient and flexible approach to working with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
