We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Leyland. This temp-to-perm opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils and helping them achieve their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both teaching staff and pupils throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across different year groups.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver effective learning activities.
• Support pupils with literacy, numeracy, and classroom tasks.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with behaviour management and pupil wellbeing.
• Encourage student confidence, participation, and achievement.

Requirements

• Previous Teaching Assistant or classroom support experience is desirable.
• Experience working with children within education, childcare, or youth settings.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
