Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (Southampton)
Location: Southampton
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary (flexible to cover various assignments)

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across the Southampton area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional team supporting pupils and teachers in diverse educational settings.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

• Supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their potential

• Helping to manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment

• Supervising pupils during breaks and supporting school routines

• Contributing to pupil progress through one-to-one or small group support

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with primary-aged children is highly desirable

• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility and reliability to cover various schools and assignments across Southampton

• Relevant qualifications or willingness to train (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications)
