1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Location: Southampton

At Teaching Personnel, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in a welcoming primary school in Southampton.

The Role

• Location: Primary school in Southampton
• Pay: £13.75 per hour
• Contract: Full-time
• Start date: Immediate start available
• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
• Assist the class teacher with general classroom activities and learning support

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of two years’ employment history
• Experience working with children or in education is desirable (but not essential)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
