1:1 Teaching Assistants – Primary Schools

At Teaching Personnel, we’re looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in welcoming primary schools across Fareham. In this rewarding role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them feel confident, included, and supported in their learning journey.

The Role

• Based in primary schools across Fareham and surrounding areas
• Pay: £13.75 per hour
• Contract: Full-time opportunities available
• Start Date: Immediate and ongoing roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and differentiated learning
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of two years’ employment history
• Experience working with children or in education (desirable but not essential)
• A Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
