1:1 Teaching Assistants – Primary Schools
Fareham
At Teaching Personnel, we’re looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in welcoming primary schools across Fareham. In this rewarding role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them feel confident, included, and supported in their learning journey.
The Role
- Based in primary schools across Fareham and surrounding areas
- Pay: £13.75 per hour
- Contract: Full-time opportunities available
- Start Date: Immediate and ongoing roles
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and differentiated learning
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of two years’ employment history
- Experience working with children or in education (desirable but not essential)
- A Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
