Teaching Assistant

A School in Durham are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support their Year 5-6 Class from Monday 10th May potentially to run until December 2021.

The ideal candidate will be available immediately or from 10th May 2021.

The school is a single form entry, good performing school with a fantastic team of staff in place. The school are looking for a strong KS2 Teaching Assistant to support their upper Key Stage 2 pupils with Numeracy and Literacy. 

To apply for this role you must have –

• Teaching Assistant qualification or working towards one
• Experience in a Primary School 
• Experience working with children
• Safeguarding certificate

The school is an Ofsted rated Good school and prides itself on its nurturing and child focused ethos. The staff are welcoming and hold themselves and the children to a very high standard and would like a teacher who would is able to fit with the school ethos and environment.
