Teaching Personnel is recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools across Dorchester. We have opportunities for day-to-day supply as well as long-term placements, giving you the flexibility to choose what works for you.
Your role will include:
- Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Helping pupils engage in learning and develop confidence
- Supporting children with additional needs when required
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Have experience working with children or young people (school, childcare, or youth settings)
- Are patient, adaptable, and confident working with a range of abilities
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Are committed to supporting the learning and well-being of every child

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
