Job Description

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Darwen is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners and making a real impact in the classroom.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work closely with teachers to support lesson delivery
Provide targeted support for pupils who need extra assistance
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
Support children’s social and emotional development

Ideal Candidate

Experience working in a primary school or similar setting
A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and pupils
