Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a part time Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in he crammlington area of Northumberland. The school require a dedicated Educator with experience in KS1 as well as haveing some initiative to do what is best for the pupils. The role is to start in Early December and will resume in the new year unitl the Easter Holidays.

Candidate Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant qualification

• Experience working in the primary school environment

• A child-only DBS on the update system (assistance offered)

• An overseas criminal clearance (if necessary)

The role:

• Lead one-to-one and group intervention to challenge pupils at all abilities

• Produce engaging learning materials to support pupils’ development

• Effective management of pupil behaviour

• Support the classroom teacher (Year 4)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
