Nursery Teaching Assistant – Cardiff (CF24)

Location: Cardiff City Centre (CF24)
Salary: £89.35 per day
Start Date: After the April Half Term
Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time Available

Are you ready to inspire and support young children at a key stage of their early development? Teaching Personnel is looking for caring and dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistants to join a friendly nursery team in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children aged 3-4 in their daily learning and play.

  • Assist the classroom teacher and help lessons run smoothly.

  • Create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to meet individual needs.

  • Work closely with other staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

  • Supervise children during breaks and activities.

  • Follow school policies and uphold high standards of care and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.

  • Confidence working with young children.

  • Reliability and commitment to supporting early learning.

  • Previous experience in a nursery or school is desirable but not essential.

Essential Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) – must be in place before starting.

  • EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
