Teaching Assistant

Join the support department of a secondary school in Bury, known for consistently good results across all year groups.

• Full-time Teaching Assistant.
• Required to start January 2022.
• Supporting pupils aged 11-16 who require additional support.
• Providing guidance for students with Special Educational Needs.
• Work alongside other members of the Support department to deliver interventions for those students who require further guidance.
• Opportunity to work in a recently refurbished building with excellent facilities and links to training.
• Work in both small groups and 1:1 with identified pupils.
• Earn up to £1450 per month.

Due to the recent coronavirus pandemic, our client school has found an increase in pupils who require additional support during lessons. The school is hoping an additional teaching assistant will ensure their identified pupils stay on track for their target grades.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience supporting children/young people or skills that can be transferred to work within the educational sector.  Any direct experience with pupils who have SEN such as ADHD or Autism is desirable

Our client school is based in Bury and is easily accessible via the M66 and A56 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. Our client school can also be accessed via several public transportation links within Bury from the surrounding areas including Bolton, Rochdale and Prestwich.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
