Teaching Assistant in Bradford (Part-Time)

A primary school in BD1 are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to help KS2 learning on a part-time basis…could it be you?

The school received a ‘Good’ in its last Ofsted (2018) and they are looking for an experienced KS2 classroom assistant adept at supporting the whole class, and with the ability to take one-on-one interventions and take children with challenging behaviour out of the class.

The school has continued to perform well under the current head, who has been in charge for two years, and has excellent behaviour management underpinned by very polite pupils and staff. This makes it a very pleasant and warm working environment.

Preferences for this role:

•              Experience in KS2 learning – as there will be a large focus on helping children in year 6 approaching their SATs, so a track record in this regard would be valuable

•              Maths background – as this is an area the school would like to improve in through one-on-one interventions

•              Additional languages – this school has a large proportion of children for whom English is a second language, and so knowledge of another language would be useful for pupils and parents alike.

This role has a competitive daily rate that will be paid at the end of the following week.
