Teaching Assistants Needed – Secondary SEMH School (Bournemouth)
Full-time, Part-time & Ad-hoc Opportunities | September Start

Teaching Personnel, a leading education agency working with schools across Dorset, is currently supporting a specialist secondary SEMH school in Bournemouth. We are looking to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants for a range of roles starting in September.

This supportive and dedicated school caters to pupils aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex additional needs. All pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and the school places a strong emphasis on tailored, individualised support.

Roles available:

  • One-to-one support for students with specific needs

  • General classroom support across various subjects

  • Full-time, part-time and ad-hoc positions available

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience supporting young people with SEMH or SEND

  • Strong behaviour management and resilience

  • A passion for making a positive impact on students' lives
