Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to become an integral part of an SEN department within a mainstream school in Sturminster. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and thriving educational environment.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and students in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
• Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in both classroom and individual settings.
• Contributing to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal development of young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to upholding the schools values and ethos.
