Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for an SEMH school in Bournemouth. This school cater for secondary aged students with SEN/Behaviour needs. The school invests in employing the best staff and in training them to achieve; as such the school strives to engage staff who are self-motivated, professional and ambitious.

The school are looking for exceptional people to join their team who are able to demonstrate belief in the school culture and ethos; have a passion for working with children and young people with special needs/ behaviour needs well as creativity and energy.

Ideal candidates will be/have:

  • Professional and caring individual
  • Have a good understanding about safeguarding and working with vulnerable children
  • Flexible, adaptable and be able to use own initiative
  • Experience working within SEN/SEMH or working with children is beneficial but not essential (all applications welcome)

As the range of pupil’s ages and SEMH requirements vary, I am looking for flexible team members who are confident to work across all aspects of SEN and all key stages.

  • Full-Time Role, Monday - Friday, term time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
