Teaching Assistant

I am actively looking for Graduates to place in IMMEDIATE short term, long-term and permanent Secondary Teaching Assistant roles. This role is excellent for people looking to build a career as a teacher. The schools I work with in Bournemouth, Christchurch and the New Forest are looking to employ Teaching Assistants to support their pupils in preparation for their exams.

Overview:

• Full and part-time graduates required
• Providing pupils with additional support in small groups and/or on a 1:1 basis
• Collaborating with the teacher to produce engaging teaching activities for pupils

What we need from you:

• 2 suitable work based or educational references
• Clear passion for working with young people and in the education sector
• A DBS (Or be happy to apply for one of these during registration)
• The ability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviour

Though candidates should ideally have prior experience working with young people-for example through tuition or support work-we are happy to consider individuals who show keen interest in the field through other means.
