Teaching Assistant

This opportunity is ideal for applicants with previous experience providing 1:1 support for children with additional learning needs.

• Full-time Teaching Assistant.
• Start date – September 2024.
• Large secondary school based in Bolton.
• Supporting pupils aged 11-16.
• Providing small group and 1:1 support for pupils within the classroom.
• Earn up to £1900 per month, depending on your experience.

Our client secondary school are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 with a range of subjects. The school has recognised a staffing gap within the support department due to a few pupils falling behind within certain subjects due to additional learning needs.

The school has been recognised for the excellent support they provide incoming staff alongside behaviour management training and a full induction. The school would prefer applicants to have previous experience in a similar role however, they are considering applications from all applicants with relevant experience of supporting children and young people.

Our client school is based in Bolton and can be accessed via the M62, M66, A56 and A580 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For non-drivers, there are several forms of public transport with links to surrounding areas such as Swinton, Farnworth and Bury.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
