Teaching Assistant – Inspiring Futures, Supporting Learning

Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? Do you enjoy working as part of a supportive, dedicated team? We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly centre based in Blandford Forum.

In this role, you will:

• Support students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) in their learning, across a range of subjects

• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging, accessible activities

• Help create a positive, nurturing environment where every learner feels valued

• Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help students build skills and confidence

• Contribute to daily routines and the smooth running of the centre

We are seeking someone who:

• Has experience working in a similar SEMH setting, youth work or sports coaching experience 

• Has a caring, patient and proactive approach

• Communicates well with both students and colleagues

• Is adaptable and willing to learn

• Is committed to promoting the wellbeing and progress of every young person

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
