Pay Rate: 14.30 – 16.00 per hour

A well‑established primary school in Blackburn is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team for the summer term. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children’s learning and is looking for a role that could lead to a permanent position.

You will work alongside the class teacher to deliver high‑quality support, help pupils stay engaged in lessons, and contribute to a positive classroom environment. The school is known for its strong community values and supportive staff culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils during whole‑class and small‑group activities
Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Providing targeted intervention where required
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
Contributing to the wider school community

Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
