Teaching Assistant to Support Small Group Interventions – Starting Easter 2025
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support small groups of children with targeted interventions at a school in Blackburn with Darwen, starting Easter 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide tailored support to help students excel academically and make a real difference in their learning journey.
Location: Blackburn with Darwen
Position: Teaching Assistant (Small Group Interventions)
Start Date: Easter 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with small group interventions to boost students’ academic progress
- Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver effective interventions
- Provide one-on-one support to students who need additional help
- Track and monitor student progress, adjusting support as necessary
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Support the social and emotional development of students
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children, ideally in small group settings
- A passion for supporting students’ educational development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning support
- A relevant qualification (Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable
