Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in supportive and inclusive school in the North of Birmingham. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children with special educational needs thrive in a positive learning environment.

About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support with their learning, communication, and emotional development. You will help create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment that allows every child to reach their potential.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Providing 1:1 or small group support

• Supporting pupils with learning activities and classroom routines

• Encouraging positive behaviour and social development

• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

• Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning space

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals with a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs. Experience is beneficial but not essential, as full support and guidance will be provided.

This role would suit someone who is:

• Caring, patient, and understanding

• Comfortable to work with young people with Additional Needs

• Reliable and committed

• Comfortable working as part of a team

• Confident building positive relationships with children/ Vulnerable young people

What We Offer

• Weekly Pay: £85/95 per day 

• Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to apply)

• Experience working with children is an advantage but not required
