Teaching Personnel is currently looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across High Wycombe and the surrounding areas.

We have a variety of daily supply, short-term, and long-term placements available, giving you the freedom to choose what suits you best.


About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across a range of year groups with their learning and development

  • Assist teachers with planning, classroom preparation and behaviour support

  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions where needed

  • Support children with SEND, including those with autism, ADHD and SEMH

  • Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

Roles are available in mainstream and SEND settings, giving you the chance to gain valuable classroom experience or develop your skills further.


What We’re Looking For

  • Passionate about education and supporting young people

  • Reliable, proactive and flexible

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to learn, take direction and contribute to a supportive school environment

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
