A purpose-built specialist school for children and young people with a variety of Special Educational Needs are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team!
The Role:
You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students ranging across KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 with various learning difficulties and additional needs such as:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Physical and Sensory disabilities
- General challenging behaviour

- SEND experience in or out of an educational setting
- Able to collaborate with teachers and other support staff
- Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies
- Able to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and safely

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
