We are currently working with a Primary PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) In the Tameside area who are looking for behaviour focused Teaching Assistants to support students in the classroom.
The school supports students at key stage 2 + 3 for a short stay, to assist them in developing their social and emotional skills and fill any gaps in their education with aspirations to return to mainstream education.
Many of the students suffer with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and some learning disabilities, which in turn has caused challenging behaviour and an inability to cope in a traditional school.
