Primary Teaching Assistant – Aylesbury (Part Time, ASAP Start)

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Part-time (8:30am – 3:15pm, Monday to Friday)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming Primary School in Aylesbury who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a part-time, long-term role, supporting pupils across the school to ensure they reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to provide in-class support, small group intervention, and general classroom assistance.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience).

  • Providing targeted academic and emotional support to individual pupils or small groups.

  • Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation and classroom organisation.

  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning.

  • Helping to create a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (voluntary or paid).

  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

  • A genuine passion for helping children thrive and succeed.

Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate) are desirable but not essential.
