Teaching Assistant (Autism Specialist)

We are seeking a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive and inclusive educational setting that caters for pupils aged 3 to 18 years.
This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering the chance to work across both primary and secondary phases.
About the Role
- Hours: 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
- Location: Beautiful countryside setting, easily accessible by car
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract: Full-time

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Minimum of 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with additional needs
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to the school’s location)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning and development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
