SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistants – Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch

At Teaching Personnel, we work with a range of local schools looking for caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs.
Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time or flexible work, we can help you find a role that suits your availability.
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with individual pupils, helping them access learning, develop their confidence and reach their full potential. You may support children with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties or other additional needs.
No two days are the same, but the opportunity to make a positive difference to a child’s school experience makes this a rewarding role.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has a genuine interest in supporting children with SEN.
- Is patient, caring and understanding.
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Has previous experience working with children or supporting additional needs (desirable but not always essential).
- Has a current DBS or is willing to apply for one.
- Is available for full-time, part-time or flexible work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
