Role Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Year 3 curriculum (Curriculum for Wales)
  • Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that reflects the school’s SHINES values, which stand for Successful, Happy, Included, Evolving, and Spiritual
  • Assess, track, and support pupil progress
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Promote wellbeing and inclusive learning for all pupils

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
  • Knowledge of child-centred, inclusive teaching approaches
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to promoting wellbeing and pastoral care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
