The school which is based in the area of Romsey going through significant developments in Hampshire. The school is looking to appoint a Science Teacher to join them in September 2019 on a full time, permanent basis. The school are looking to enhance their team across their secondary phases and in order to achieve this, they need an ambitious individuals who are passionate about teaching, learning.

The role of a Science specialist is a highly rewarding one yet on occasion challenging role. The school are keen to receive applications from people with pre existing experience in education, graduates who are looking to pursue a career in teaching or experienced teaching assistants who are looking to progress in their career.

Skills and experience you will need in order to be successful in the role:

  • Supportive, patient and non-judgemental
  • Positive, flexible and encouraging
  • Passion for Science (Chemistry, Physics and Biology)
  • Good communicator who is able adapt their style to sensitively meet the needs of all learners
  • Have a good presence and sense of humour
  • If not qualified, a minimum qualification of Degree in a Science subject
  • understand how children develop, think and learn
  • Experience in managing groups of children in different environments What can the school offer you?
