Science Teacher – Farnborough
Location: Farnborough
Start Date: March 2025
⏳ Contract: Full-Time, Supply (Until the End of the Academic Year)
A secondary school in Farnborough is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from March until the end of the academic year. This full-time supply role involves delivering Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop a strong understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics while fostering a passion for scientific inquiry.
The Role:
- Teach Science across KS3 & KS4, following the national curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that develop students’ scientific knowledge and investigative skills.
- Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations, ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Work collaboratively with the Science department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Support students in coursework and exam preparation, ensuring they reach their full potential.
Who Can Apply?
✔️ Qualified Science Teachers (QTS/QTLS preferred).
✔️ ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
✔️ Unqualified teachers with relevant subject knowledge and teaching experience may also be considered.
✔️ Individuals with a passion for Science, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students.
