Teacher of Science – Basingstoke

Start Date: September 2026 (or earlier if available)
Contract: Full time / Permanent
Salary: MPR / UPR (£32,916 – £51,048)

A high‑performing and rapidly growing secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking an innovative and inspirational Teacher of Science to join its successful Science Faculty from September 2026. The Science Department

The Science Faculty is a collaborative, well‑resourced and high‑performing team, delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3 and KS4. The department has a strong track record of excellent GCSE outcomes and is committed to:

  • Developing students’ scientific understanding and curiosity

The Role

You will:

  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (all specialisms considered)
  • Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and progress
  • Use assessment effectively to monitor and support student attainment
  • Contribute to departmental development and wider school initiatives
