Science Teacher – Join a Forward-Thinking Secondary School in Basingstoke – September 2025 Start
Full-Time | Long-Term or Permanent | Suitable for ECTs and Experienced Teachers

Are you a passionate and motivated Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and progressive secondary school? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your ideas are valued and professional development is a priority?

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a well-regarded secondary school in Basingstoke, part of a growing and ambitious multi-academy trust, to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Science for a September 2025 start. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4 in a school that places inclusion, innovation, and student wellbeing at the heart of everything it does.


The Role:

  • Full-time Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science)

  • Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and knowledge-rich science lessons

  • Working within a dynamic science department committed to continuous improvement

  • Contributing to extra-curricular activities and whole-school initiatives


Who We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply – full mentoring and induction support available

  • A teacher who inspires curiosity and a love of Science in every student

  • Strong classroom management and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching

  • Willingness to contribute to wider school life and department collaboration

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
