Teaching personnel are working with a catholic school in Bournemouth who are looking for a part time teacher of Religious Education from April 2019. As an RE Teacher you will be responsible for teaching up to GCSE level - with the option to teach KS5 if you wish - so a extensive knowledge of the subject and curriculum is essential for this role. The successful RE Teacher will provide the students with progressive lessons that cover all sides of religious education.
The successful candidate must:
- Be a qualified RE Teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS).
- Demonstrate recent experience as a Humanities (Geography, RE, History) Teacher.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.
- Ability to work well within a progressive team.
