Are you a Religious Education Teacher looking for work in the Burnley area?
Teaching personnel are working with a school in the Burnley area to recruit an RE teacher to join their humanities department. The position has become available due to an unexpected absence for one of the RE Teachers.
The school is a large Catholic School with over 1000 pupils on roll. The school has been judged as a 'Good' school in all areas by Ofsted. The role has been made available due to a member of the RE department leaving suddenly. Despite the position being initially temporary, a suitable candidate would be considered for a permanent position from September.
NQT's and experienced RE teachers would be considered for the role. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 RE curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds. A successful candidate would also need to be able to plan effective intervention activities and be willing to deliver intervention with a small cohort of pupils.
A successful candidate will benefit from the following:
- Suitable for NQT's and experienced teachers
- Potential for a permanent position for a suitable candidate
- Excellent school location with good transport links
If you feel that this role would be suitable for you then contact Robert at Teaching Personnel as soon as possible!
