Female PE Teacher – Farnborough
Start Date: After Easter 2026
Contract: Full‑time (5 days per week)
Phase: 11–16 (KS3–KS4)
A values‑driven secondary school in Farnborough is seeking an energetic and inspiring Female PE Teacher to join its Physical Education team after Easter. You’ll champion girls’ participation and performance, develop leadership and teamwork, and cultivate lifelong habits for health and wellbeing through inclusive, high‑quality PE.

Who We’re Looking For
You will be:
- A qualified Female PE Teacher with the ability to deliver a broad KS3–KS4 curriculum (invasion games, net/wall, athletics, fitness, leadership).
- Passionate about girls’ PE, widening participation and celebrating progress at every level.
- Skilled at planning safe, engaging practical lessons that build physical competence, confidence and character.
- Ready to contribute to extracurricular sport (teams, clubs, fixtures and events).
- A reflective, collaborative practitioner who upholds high expectations and strong professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach sequenced, practical PE that develops skills, fitness and tactical understanding over time.
- Promote inclusive participation and competitive pathways, with opportunities for leadership (e.g., sports captains, officials).
- Contribute to a broad enrichment programme, inter‑school fixtures and community events.
- Use assessment and feedback to track progress and close gaps, working closely with colleagues and pastoral teams.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
