Teacher of Maths needed in Blackburn School - Easter Start

Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a school in the Blackburn Area to recruit a Maths Teacher. The school are looking to recruit a teacher starting from Easter 2018. The position is covering a Maternity leave which will extend through to the end of the academic year.

The school is an average sized secondary school with approximately 900 pupils on roll. In their most recent Ofsted inspection highlights included the schools Behaviour policies, the pupil's attitudes for Learning and the Effectiveness of the Senior Leadership Team. The school is confident regarding their journey to "Outstanding" and has a clear vision for their plan to get there.

A suitable candidate should be experienced delivering on the new maths specifications and have a track record of achieving a high standard of results. The school has high expectations for behaviour and they will be keen to secure a candidate who shares their vision for pupil progress. Both NQT and experienced Teachers will be considered.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
