Salary: £140 - £240 per day (DOE)
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join one of our well-established partner secondary schools in Sheffield. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner to inspire students, drive progress, and contribute to a thriving Maths department.
About the Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Use data and assessment to track progress and support pupils of varying abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and develop effective teaching strategies.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and engagement.
About You
The person who we are looking for MUST require the following:
- QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
- Can deliver creative, differentiated lessons that motivate learners.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Maintains a proactive, reflective, and positive approach to professional practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
